SYMPATHY
Sincere sympathy is extended to the Glenn family; Dawn, daughter of Francis and the late Mary ‘Hubba’ Glenn, passed away last week after a courageous battle. She leaves behind many who loved her.

BIRTHDAYS
Birthday celebrations on the 21st were James McCabe & Dillion Tremel; October 22nd Ron Cropsey Jr. turns one year older; on the 23rd is Rosemarie Boast, Carol Funari, Trent Logan, Chad Pysher, & Doris Sweeney; the 24th we have Bambi Brown, John Lingafelt, Mary Louise Lingafelt, and Michael Zumer Sr. all celebrating; the 26th of October Abigail Bost & Christian Quinn share the day. October 28th is Sherry Agosta’s birthday and on the 28th is Jacqueline Myers and Jeffrey Wilson. Happy birthday everyone.

A special happy birthday goes out to my little helper, who is very sweet and caring, my niece, Kiera Nadolsky. She turns 12 on October 24th. Kiera helps me each year with many things, but what I count on her the most for is when we have to bake all of her Pappy’s Nut and Poppy Seed Rolls for the holidays; it can be a daunting task (because her Pappy insists we make enough to feed an army) but with Kiera assisting (or me now assisting her) we can get them done (and taste test a few) in no time. Happy Birthday my little sweetheart!

ANNIVERSARIES
Mr. & Mrs. Joe Gides celebrate their anniversary today. Larry & Linda Behe celebrate on the 25th. James and Tricia McMahon celebrate on the 27th and Ronald & Jeannie George on the 29th. Last but not least is John and Joyce Pyo celebrating on the 30th. Happy Anniversary!

OLD TIMER
You are an old timer if you remember trick or treating in town and receiving apples, pennies, and candy while wearing a black Lone Ranger mask.
