Ugggh.Snow on the ground since the 21st of November….ready for hibernation.

I would like to wish my family, friends, and readers a very happy and enjoyable Thanksgiving Day. Enjoy watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.

As a reminder, Misty Haven Stables will be providing sleigh rides from 5:30PM to 9:00PM, Saturday, November 26th. Tickets are available at Gall’s Insurance Agency. Walk-up rides are available. Enjoy the town tree-lighting ceremony and a visit from Santa at 7:00PM. Both events
are at the old ambulance building (soon to be the new borough building) at the intersection of Main and Cleveland Streets in Lilly Borough.

The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the family and friends of Joseph Suchta who passed away November 20th. Joe was a retired coal miner and also a veteran of both WWII
and Korea. He helped with mining information for Lilly-Washington Historical Society’s “Spirit of Community” book.
Also sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Barbara Szczechowicz who passed on November 14th. She was a 1961 graduate of Lilly-Washington High School and was a land-lady
in Lilly and also operated a grocery store on Cleveland Street for many years.

On November 24th, Hannah Glenn, Allison Przybys, and Trey Talko get to blow out candles.
