Credit goes to the members and friends of the Lilly United Methodist Church who spent part of their day on Saturday April 21 cleaning up litter from Lilly Borough to new Route 22 in Cresson Township along Route 53. They had collected several bags of litter when I noticed their efforts.
We must abhor litter and educate the public not to discard anything along the highways and streets.
There are fines for such behavior. Report violators to the police.
