Last week I mentioned the Traditional Anglers of Pennsylvania and their stocking of trout in the Borough and Township. They started with the Little Conemaugh on the 15th and will also do Bear Rock Run on the 29th, both streams will get stocked two times. This is great, especially for the children of the area. Help them with a donation to T.A.Ps 4 Sherry Lane, Portage PA 15946. Put a “Thanks for stocking Lilly streams” note with the donation
Sweep your sidewalks and driveways now before the street sweepers come through. Don’t place piles in the street as it’s hard for the sweeper to gather them, just scatter the cinders around. The town will look good if everyone pitches in. If you have an elderly or infirm neighbor or relative help them out.

I thought “Here comes Big Foot and I don’t have my camera.” As the apparition got closer we realized it was Bruce Hershel out for a leisurely Saturday afternoon walk.
