I would like to wish my family, friends, and readers a very happy and enjoyable Thanksgiving Day. Enjoy watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.
As a reminder, Misty Haven Stables will be providing sleigh rides from 5:30PM to 9:00PM, Saturday, November 26th. Tickets are available at Gall’s Insurance Agency. Walk-up rides are available. Enjoy the town tree-lighting ceremony and a visit from Santa at 7:00PM. Both events
are at the old ambulance building (soon to be the new borough building) at the intersection of Main and Cleveland Streets in Lilly Borough.
The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the family and friends of Joseph Suchta who passed away November 20th. Joe was a retired coal miner and also a veteran of both WWII
and Korea. He helped with mining information for Lilly-Washington Historical Society’s “Spirit of Community” book.
Also sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Barbara Szczechowicz who passed on November 14th. She was a 1961 graduate of Lilly-Washington High School and was a land-lady
in Lilly and also operated a grocery store on Cleveland Street for many years.
On November 24th, Hannah Glenn, Allison Przybys, and Trey Talko get to blow out candles.
Cake time on the 26th for Joseph Gides, Deb Hartline, James Lego, and Bernard Phillps. The 27th sees Rick Nadolsky, Barbara Pysher, and William Wilkinson V, celebrating. Happy Birthday to
Florence Stevens and Vicki Durkay on the 28th. The 29th sees Lucille Campagna and Taylor Tomlison celebrating. On the 30th, Lori Rainey celebrates her birthday. On December 1st, Amy Stauski celebrates. Happy Birthday to All.
A special anniversary wish to Phyliss and Ted Myers on November 25th, as they observe their 60 years together. Donald and Frances George, Frederick and Gloria Kuntz, and Thomas and Patricia Muldoon celebrate as well.
On the 28th, Regis and Joan Kinback celebrate and on the 29th, James & Mary Kozak celebrate.
The 1st of December, sees Rick and Marilyn Nadolsky celebrating.
