The word must be out on the good food and fun as a large crowd attended the 14th annual Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Picnic. Sunny skies and warm temperatures made for a beautiful day. It was evident there were many first time visitors. As several stopped me to ask for directions to the church grounds.
A lot of landscaping was accomplished this past week at the Miners Memorial as 200 bushes were added to the grounds. Stop by the War Memorial Field to see this masterpiece in progress.
