On TV this morning there was a short segment on Santa Claus and criticism that he is always featured as being white. Come on World, there are better things to worry about, like the war in Syria, the typhoons and damage in the Philippines and the hungry people around the world.
You are an old timer if you remember the Christmas songs and animations that played on the black and white TV’s back in the early 1950s. These included Suzy Snowflake, Frosty the Snowman and the Three Little Elves: Hardrock, Cocoa and Jo. It is pleasing to see these old time memories running on WJAC-TV this holiday season.
Here is hoping that all my readers have a very Merry and Happy Christmas with their family and friends. Enjoy this special time together. Get out and enjoy the beautiful outdoor lighting found in the area. Take time to go to the services at your church and thank God for the fine community we live in. Merry Christmas.
