CHOO-CHOO TRAIN On Monday morning a nice, orderly crowd gathered along Rail Road Street here in Lilly to await the steam locomotive, compliments of North Folk Southern, coming west on the Mainline pulling several passenger cars on its way to Pittsburgh and then Fort Wayne, Indiana, its home.. Several observers were able to track its location and after stops in Gallitzin and Cresson the train finally passed through Lilly shortly before 1:00 PM. There were many among the crowd, including me, taking pictures of this once in a hundred blue moons event.

OLD TIMER You are an oldtimer if you remember when these steam locomotives came through Lilly on a daily basis.
